Tech Mix October ’06

Long time no fresh mix, so here it is: a set with many of my favorite tunes from the last weeks and months.
I played mostly tech house, minimal & progressive tracks, a bit longer than usual – 2.5 hours total this time.
You’ll come across quite a few cool John & Jesper Dahlbäck productions, two tracks by Lucca including the massive new ‘Body Dance‘ and of course some floor destroyers of this summer, like the Depeche Mode mixes or the remixes by Eric Prydz. There’s also the new Jody Wisternoff (‘Nostalgia‘) in the end, what a nice production that is… and I have to say, I especially liked the overall flow of the set this time.

Mix August ’06

Haven’t done a mix for quite some time now, so I thought it’s time for a fresh one. This time the set is pretty much across most of my favorite genres among the different EDM styles. The first half is more on the techno / minimal / house side – the second contains some of the biggest trance tracks for my taste from the last few weeks and months, as well as some great older tunes like ‘This Is New York‘ and a cool remix of ‘Swing 2 Harmony‘ by Monkz. You’ll also find my absolute favorite track for 2006 so far: ‘Lift‘ by Sean Tyas – this is just a monster, I’m totally in love with it since Armin (besides others) dropped it on the open air floor at this years Nature One. That was totally mindblowing for sure. :) ‘Domino‘ was also a track that was playing anywhere you went that weekend – Hell played it in the middle of his set and everybody just went crazy. :D

Here we go again – a new mix for your listening pleasure. :)
As you can see from the tracklist, compared to my last few mixes, the music style is quite different. I’m a big fan of the rather techy sounds, so I played a little set with mostly techno / minimal tracks + some electro.
